While down in Louisiana for Neen's graveside service, CrazyUncle and I took some pictures at Dorcheat Bayou in Minden (about 20 miles from Cotton Valley). This night photo was taken using my Nikon D40 with a 45 second exposure. The light is coming from mercury-vapor lamps in the parking area.

Had I been choosing, I would have picked the one that showed several colors with the bridge in the foreground. Just saying. Anyway, thanks for having TWO posts in the same month, and even in the same week!
Dad could not read the file off his camera memory card. You'll need to send us a CD of your photos.
Who is Stephen Baird and why was his comment removed?
Sweet picture. Serene. But could be mistaken for borderline creepy.
I don't know Stephen Baird. That is why it was deleted. I posted a "test" post, saw that the picture was too big and was cropped by blogger, went back to resize it, posted again and there was Stephen Baird. "Who is Stephen Baird?" I asked myself. "And what is he doing reading my blog?" All he said was "Nice picture." but I DIDN'T KNOW THE GUY! Anyway, I deleted it to try to keep it in the family (y'know, "WEBNET" and all that). Is there a way to do that without having to delete the comments of folks I don't know?
I said, "Nice Picture!"
